It appears to be an homage or close copy (depending on your POV, lol) of a Tom Ford suit that Gwyneth Paltrow wore in the mid-90s. As you have been noting, the 90s are back! It just doesn't work as well on me, to my eye (the long blazer). I have several "regular" classic length blazers and that's as long as I can really comfortably go (unless I go coat length). Truthfully, I prefer a slightly cropped style.
