It sounds like she is doing well. When it first happened she was really down because unfortunately in the last few years there have been various things going on limiting her mobility and normal gardening program, but her friends are rallying around her with casseroles and what not, and word has it my stepfather is *gasp* doing the laundry. In fact my mom reported he is changing the bed sheets every two days! The doctor said it will heal okay but it will be months before she can even put any weight on her foot.
