The tube mascara (Kiss Me) is my personal choice. I simply love it, primarily because it never ever smudges, which is my pet peeve about traditional mascara. I like the idea of the extensions, but personally don't want to add more maintenance to my life! I'm sure they do look wonderful.

Wow, sounds very intriguing. I would certainly try it if it were in my budget.

This is nothing more than individual false lashes, that are applied with semi-permanent lash adhesive. They shed as your natural lashes about every 2-3 months.
That is why you do a *fill* every couple weeks or so.

The effect is quite beautiful. You can choose a variety of colors and lengths and have them put on heavy or light, in a certain pattern...heavy and long on the end, or what ever you choose. We had a young woman in our salon who did this and I used to love to watch her steady hand and artful designs..quite a talent:)

For those who are old enough, this was popular in the late 70's and has been refined:)

Hi everyone,

I was at Nordstrom today in the cosmetics department and the woman who helped me had beautiful eyelashes. I learned that she had eyelash extensions! I was intrigued because they are apparently like nails in that you have to have them 'filled' every two weeks.

I looked up the salon where she had them done, and it is $200.00 for the initial appt. and then $60.00 every two weeks! That's way too pricey for my budget, but just wondering if anyone has ever had it done and how it worked?

I don't really like to wear mascara because I hate taking it off! I've recently started using this type of mascara that forms a tube around your eyelash and comes off easily with warm water but the idea of not having to deal with it at all is very tempting. Latisse (the prescription medicine for eyelashes) is out of the question for me because I'm too creeped out by the fact that it could possibly change your eye color!
