I think you’re heading in the right direction. We have similar coloring but I decided a few years ago that I needed several pairs to choose from daily. I have a “quieter” half-rimless pair, a pair of bolder burgundy ones, and a a pair of really big (for me) frames that are dramatic. These were all spendy because they are progressives since I need reading glasses too, but I decided to allocate funds each year to glasses and (sunglasses). Once I made the decision to add a new frame every year or two, I relaxed into the process and don’t stress quite so much over finding the perfect pair. After all, what clothes I wear daily shifts depending on my mood or activity.
