I've been sewing since I was little (grew up with a seamstress mother!) and I would never attempt it. How do you clean it - washing or dry cleaning? Hand washing and air drying might shrink up the overall fit and help the sleeve length. Like, not trendy long sleeves but orangutan long, and it's not my best color. But it's like wearing a hug and it makes me remember a wonderful vacation, so it lives on in my closet and comes out to play once in a while. I've even considered having the sleeves shortened but I'm not sure if that's a good idea with a knit. </p> <p>And the upside? Built in mittens!</p> <p>Comments and suggestions welcome!
