I think they're good quality for the money (especially on sale!). I did find one that was a wool blend, but the synthetic blend ones are nice quality, too, and (bonus!) purportedly machine washable. I have a flat butt and small hips, though, but I did have to size down. I would try your regular size. The cut is very flattering, one of the rare ones in the mainstream stores that doesn't have those pesky side entry pockets. The quality is decent: you won't find any nicer materials such as wool blends, only cotton in the summer; most are typically rayon-poly blends.
