Or there were the several ladies of all ages who seemed to think a nude bra and a racerback top were made for each other --- and no, these weren't swimsuit coverups. If the strap is black or coloured, it's fine (especially if it's a pretty bra strap) but a visible utilitarian nude bra strap looks less than fantastic. Nearly all of my bras are black and quite often, especially in the warmer months, my straps peek out. I'm not too bothered about it. And sometimes it's fun to see an intentionally perky or pretty strap peeking out, if the context is right (not in a boardroom, then) --- a friend of mine has rivets on a purple strap, another has yellow flowers that make up the strap, and I quite like to see some denim and wide lace (the only exception to the 'white under wraps' so far, for me) and clear neon ribbons. </p>
