I like them all, though #3 is my least favorite. #4 looks retro to me; 1 and 2 look more modern. I think the shoes look OK with the cuffs.

Love the cuffs. I agree with everyone that #1 is best, but they're all good. If you want a more devil-may-care look, I've been doing one similar to #1 except folding it up to the double-cuff length and then folding that in half, which leaves jeans hem slightly visible at the top. Fun. Photo below is from denimhunters.com

I do like the height! Diana made a good point about straight legs. I really can't go higher with these; the folded ankle gets too tight. Jeans are a major difficulty for me, and not a wardrobe staple, so I'll probably just stick with low cuffs. :D

I think by the shoes, I more meant the height of the vamp and thickness
of the cushy material. They're heavy, visually. The oxfords are pretty basic wingtips, very sleek. I feel like Mary Tyler Moore on the Dick Van Dyke Show, in her capris. :D

4 and 2! For me it's all about the height and less about cuff size :-)
I don't think the shoes are throwing anything off. Maybe you're just used to dressier shoes?

I agree that with these shoes and the particular jeans, the narrower cuff works better. I personally prefer the big cuff on a more straight-leg jean as I think it produces a cleaner line with no binding where the tapered cuff cuts into your leg.

This winter has been weird and mild. January and February overall has shown an early spring pattern: south wind and north wind back and forth, switching every 12 to 48 hours, with corresponding temperature changes. A real delight for people with allergies! And it doesn't make dressing much easier, either. Yesterday started in the mid 30s and ended in the upper 70s.

But it does give me an opportunity to play with mild-temp combinations, like cuffed jeans and no socks. I refuse to wear jeans when it's over 80, and I hate cold feet, so this isn't a combination I'm practiced with. Last week I tried several variations with my blue sneakers. None of them really looked right to me, so I'd love some feedback and other ideas.

#1 Narrow double fold cuff

#2 Narrow triple fold cuff

#3 Single deeper cuff at ankle

#4 Even deeper single fold cuff

These are extra long jeggings; the taper is noticeable with a deep cuff. In #4 it is starting to flare at the fold while being tight higher up on my leg.

I think it's the shoes that are throwing this look for me. Most variations look great with my cognac oxfords; but that's a much lower-profile shoe. (Leg lengthening is not a priority, btw.)
