I've seen them on the Nordstrom site before, but do they typically have them at the store (in Seattle)?

Wow thanks everyone! I didn't need all that much persuading to begin with, but now I can hardly wait for the winter collection to arrive.
Pity I won't be able to try them on before I order online, because fit is so important with coats. Oh wait, apparently there's a store in Munich that carries their line. Methinks an autumn shopping trip to Germany might be in order! Grin, that would be a first for me: travelling abroad just to buy a new coat. Can't say I'm opposed to the idea at all...

Angie, do you have any idea when winter coats start arriving, I do want to have full choice of course if I go out of my way to try them irl.

Tanya: I actually linked to that exact same coat in the exact same colour as one of my favourites. Our tastes are indeed very similar. (will google the Mackage as well).

Antje: I'm convinced you look fabulous in your black trench. I actually bought my first trench (Zara) a few weeks ago and I feel the same way about it. And I agree with Ana, Soïa & Kyo is classic and funky at the same time, and they have just that extra special something.

You're lucky gals, I sure wish I could hire Angie for a day of shopping. Any chance you're coming to Europe in the near future Angie?

YES! YES! YES! Do not hesitate, Inge. (And quite right, Tanya).

I actually bought this brown wool coat from them in October last year and I absolutely love it:
http://www.revolveclothing.com.....ia+%26+Kyo

I've worn it a lot (whenever it wasn't so cold that down parka was required), it held up pretty well and I'd say the quality is pretty good. And I got quite a few compliments on it:)

So I'd say go for it. By the way, I actually can not see those coats you linked to, each link leads to their homepage only, but nevertheless, I love their coats!

I have also heard that they are sister-brand to Mackage ( Angie please correct me if I'm wrong) who makes even prettier coats that are much pricier as well.

Angie has a white Soia and Kyo trench she bought this year and she seems to really love it. I've heard her rave about it a few times. :)

Personally, I really like the look of their stuff and I definitely think it would last you a few years. Classic pieces with a funky twist.

I bought a black Soia and Kyo trench last year (with Angie) and lovelovelove it. It's my first trench (I always thought trenches are boring - what did I know??) and I don't know what took me so long. It's sooo stylish, it has a great cut and very fun and funky details. It makes me feel sophisticated, urban, sleek, and prepared for everything and anything. Go for it, you won't regret it!

Hi ladies

Has anybody ever bought a Soïa & Kyo coat? I love their quirky designs and am wondering if they are made of good quality materials. I'm considering them for a winter coat (I know, it's hot here too at the moment, but they're not cheap so I'd better start saving now;-)

Aside from the quality, do you think the pieces are timeless enough to last me a few years?

Just to give you an idea: I love these coats from this/the previous season
