I purchased the liner coat. I love it.
I was having some trouble with the zipper functioning and reached out to customer service. I got a fast reply to assure me they wanted to help. Everlane requested a video of my difficulty. Low and behold each time I tried to video the problem I was having, the zipper worked flawlessly.
Sheepishly I had to then report that to customer service and they were very gracious and assured me to reach out again if I had any more difficulty.
I have not and it is one of my favorite winter coats and have had no zipper issues since.

The top you are interested in is gorgeous. I'd try the Uniglo version and watch for the sale at Everlane on the silk one. I think the silks are good -- and honestly, for silk, made in China is a good thing!! -- and the cut looks lovely. Ignore all advice to dry clean only. Silk loves to be washed (gently). I have never dry cleaned any of my silk items.

Hope you enjoy the Uniqlo top if you decide to purchase it, Peri. I was pretty tempted by the dark gray one, but I figure I have enough Uniqlo stuff to stock a small shop!

I have sweaters, shoes, underwear , a bag, t-shirts , linen tops and shirts from Everlane. Like the shoes and undies the best, good quality at that price. Cashmere is average. I don’t buy t-shirts from them anymore, not my favorite as they tend to get twisted after wash. Linen is a bit rough. I really like their silks. I would say that sometimes their cuts are interesting, quality is hit and miss, customer service is excellent. Worth the try, imo.

Just another thumbs-up for Everlane's customer service. I've bought maybe 6-8 pieces over the years, most recently a pair of barrel cut jeans that were mentioned here on the forum. Quality was just fine, but they didn't come close to fitting , which was annoying (ordered online) . However, the return was easy, free of charge and the funds were credited to my card so fast it surprised me. My favourite Everlane item is a blue/white striped cotton poplin shirt dress that's now /8 years old. I only wear it a few times a year but the quality and detailing are superb. I don't think we have any brick&mortar locations in Canada which is the only reason I don't have more of this brand.

Thanks for the good advice! Seems hit or miss is the consensus and I've had that with most places lately. Nordstrom was more miss than hit this year so I may be in line to be fired, 68% return rate over the past year. (If they try to fire me I will bring up the toxic chemical sweaters!)

Thanks to Kate I'm now leaning towards the Uniqlo similar style top at the much lower price. Thanks for the re-direct, Kate!

Peri, I'm nodding along with kkards and Suz.

Everlane is a hit and miss for me too. More hit than miss if I choose wisely, and am lucky! ;)

I do well with their jeans and pants. Some of the cashmere too.

Hubs Greg does VERY well with Everlane wardrobe essential tees. They have been absolutely stellar quality, fit perfectly, and hold up well in the laundry too.

These Everlane items are currently in my wardrobe, and I love them! The white jeans and pants are Summer WORKHORSES! The cashmere has held up well too.

I'm very fond of Everlane, and have been wearing their stuff for years. I do agree though that sizing can be inconsistent, especially with dresses and tops. I've always found their customer service to be excellent.

Best advice is to read the reviews carefully, especially those where the reviewer has a similar height and weight to you. Not every poster shares those figures, but I'm grateful when they do, since that's the sort of data that really helps me to zero in on the correct size.

The top you linked to is cute, but that's a lot of money. Uniqlo has a similar top in 76% rayon and 24% polyester. I have a couple of these tops (wearing my blue one now, in fact) bought a couple of years ago, and can attest that they wear like iron, you can throw them in the washing machine, and mine I never iron, since they dry without wrinkles.
https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/p.....ayCode=003

For most Everlane items, when you look at the size guide there is a toggle button at the bottom that lets you see actual garment measurements, which I find very helpful. For the shirt you're looking at, it looks like the length ranges from 22.5" in size 00 to 24.75" in size 16. Like others, I've had some issues finding the right fit, especially in pants, but I've been very happy with the quality on the things that I've kept, especially t-shirts and sweaters. I haven't tried any of the silk items, so unfortunately I can't speak to how well they wash.

This is what I'm considering. Finds isn't working for me today

https://www.everlane.com/produ.....tion=women

I'm drawn to the blue and white stripe. The reviews all say oversized, but some say it hits right at the hip and some say it's longer. On the standing model it looks longer but on the video model it does look right at the hip...I'd want it longer.

Other puzzle...some say washes easily and some say not. One said the tag said dry clean only, which is a deal breaker for me.

I think it might be better for me to pass. Still mulling.

I first ordered from Everlane some years ago -- several silk tops. The quality was great and so was the customer service. But the fits were not precisely what I had been envisioning, and while I wore the tops for several years, they weren't my favourites, and because I didn't feel 100% confident of fits (and did not have a store nearby) I didn't order anything else from the brand.

Over the past two years, I've been able to visit stores in person and try on items for size and cut, and with that knowledge, I've been able to buy in the B&M store and online with much greater success. And I have loved their essential-for-me type items in the past few years! Quality and customer service have been excellent.

The first two items in Finds were my first Everlane purchases. The later items are my more recent purchases: curve jean, barrel leg jean, Marinier jean (full length wide leg); 3 shirts, and a top. I altered the top slightly by shortening it.

For online ordering, I do read the reviews very carefully, and ask for forum experiences or Angie's insights because she sees the items quite often in store.

I have also returned items -- not for quality, but because I wasn't thrilled with the fit on my body, or I didn't like the fabric weight/ drape in person. The process has been smooth and seamless. I've communicated with staff in customer service by email -- also a good experience.

Any place that has a good system in place for Canadian customers gets a lot of love from me, and Everlane is one of those places.

I hadn't heard of this brand until a few months ago, and I don't remember what brought it to my attention. If you've purchased anything, how was the quality and customer service?

There is a top calling to me but it's both pricey and made in China so those two things make me hesitate to experiment.
