They would be on the light end for you but I would be more concerned about the ashy color they have against your skin tone (which was a big concern for me as well). I have seen the whisky color, it's a rich, just slightly dark cognac shade. I have a pair similar to the Fergie Ledger and love them, but don't wear them all that often, simply because they're a bit higher than I prefer. But, the cover over the heels is something that I think makes them stand out. For some reason, I think you'd prefer the Fergie Mixture, Ledger or Maxines over the MM Flynns, but I could be all wrong.
