The second pants I linked to do not widen at the hem, so I'm not sure how they can be considered boot cuts or even remotely resemble flare legs, or why BR would file them under straight legs if that were the case. I do have one pair, but my favorite "dress" pants for work are my Club Monaco micro check straight leg pants. I like how they balance out my top half (I am an inverted triangle) and I love how a wide leg looks with heels - makes me feel tall! I am realizing, however, that many of my wide leg &amp; bootcut pants were perhaps a little too wide and that a slimmer cut in the thighs with the flare at the bottom is more attractive. I like the way they flow around my legs when I walk, and they seem dressier. Also, because I will wear 3-inch heels at work, that extra material down there softens the look so the heel doesn't seem as...threatening, I guess.
