I agree with Angie. That's a good choice to have to make, flattering or dramatic. I went with dramatic and left mine long.

I like both! The full length makes your legs look tall and the cropped length looks edgier to my eye.

SOOO CUTE, Suz! LOVE then on you - and we are jeans twins.

I think they look most fathering in #7, because the shorter length tempers the volume and showcases ankle bone skin.

That said, the full length is edgier, trendier, and more dramatic.

Can't go wrong either way. Pick the most comfortable option! :)

Seems like "shorten a little" is still in the lead. I'm going to wear them the next few days as is and see how I feel. They are starting to relax a bit in the rise. Still not perfect, but I think a full day of sitting in them should get them there.

I like them shorter, they seem a little overwhelming at the full length. Although maybe with different shoes that would change. I know I don't like the feeling of my pants hitting the tops of my feet.

These look fantastic on you! It is hard to say about the length - I like them when you pull them up in #4 the best (the roll up interferes with the line although I know you are just doing it to test). It sort of depends on the shoes you were wear with them I think.

Good point, too, about wear-to-test, Roberta. I am travelling in mid-May and hope to take them then, so I will need to do the wear test pretty soon in case I do decide to shorten, since I'll need to leave my seamstress a bit of time.

Maybe a tiny bit shorter . Fun shape and fits so well!
BTW - the blue jeans may color the top of your sneakers, especially if they are white sneakers. My blue jeans ( and charcoal as well - the ones that hit the back of the sneakers a bit ) got my shoes stained a bit - even on the beige/grey back of my mostly blue ECCO's.

I would like them a little shorter, I think. I really like the cuffed look in 3. I would not necessarily go as short as 4--i.e., not try to approximate the length on the model. But I think having a little visual as well as physical space (an inch?) between shoe and pant is nice aesthetically, and comfier to wear.

Myself, I would wear them and decide if the bit of extra length bothered me. Rather than hemming them and finding out I don't care for them that short. I have a similar pair of barrel pants from Anthropologie, and I love them, but I do find that when I'm sitting, they ride up really far. So hemming them may take them shorter than you actually like in practice.

Showing the Everlane Way-High Curve jean. By the way, these ones are labelled on the tag as "way-high curve" jeans as well as on the order form. They are definitely different from the utlility barrel pants, which I own in a different colour. (Also in Finds)

Like the Gardener jean (which I sent back -- in Finds), these are a smidge short in the rise for me. It's possible a size up would solve the problem, so I can consider sending back and re-ordering, though I think they may be too large elsewhere if I size up.

I like the fabric -- this is a nice, slightly lighter weight denim than the very substantial denim of the Gardener jean, and more suitable for spring/ summer/ early fall in my climate. A good thing, since that is what I was hoping for. I love the shape -- the reined in volume is totally up my style alley. :)

On me, they are "new full length." The question is, if I keep them, should I shorten so that they are just above the ankle? The problem with the current length is that they bump up against the tops of shoes and laces. But maybe they looks better longer? I was planning to wear these oxfords with them, and sneakers, and maybe a dressier flat as well. (A few options I'd thought of, in Finds).

Not styled -- just thrown on with the sweater I was wearing. I show them first full length and then various ways of cuffing, tucking, holding up to try to approximate the look should I hem them by an inch and a half or so, so they are the length they are on the model.
