I usually wear an 8 or 10 and the L was good for me for a slouchy V-neck. Ultimately I kept the small, use fashion tape to keep the placket together, and tuck the blouse if I'm feeling sensitive about my hips that day.  As April says, the "hand" of the silk is magical (and, to answer the other question from my thread, the wearing the contrast blacket open ended up being a complete non-issue). I've looked at their website since reading about them here. I like the shape of the u-neck on those tees -- deep rather than wide. I am not sure how their sizing would work for me. I'm a 6-8 and it looks from their sizing chart like I'd be right in between their medium and large sizes. This is always tricky for me -- I'm narrow across the back, but my shoulders and bust are not small. For example, for the Ryan tee, the model is 5'9" with a 25-inch waist!  Not surprisingly, that tee hits 5'3" me (very unflatteringly) at the low hip.  I do like the v-necks and have heard good things about their non-tee products (as IK noted). April on "Everlane" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/everlane#post-1165705 Thu, 13 Feb 2014 15:12:26 +0000 April 1165705@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ This was a company new to me, that I heard about when IK said she favored their tee shirts.  Their motto is very cool: "Modern Basics.  Radical Transparency."  <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.everlane.com/collections/womens-all">https://www.everlane.com/collections/womens-all</a> Yesterday I received a v-neck tee and a silk shirt.  If you love silk but aren't looking for the high shine of silk charmeuse, I highly recommend these silk shirts.  They have a velvety sheen rather than a high gloss, almost a sueded finish.  The color palette is divinely muted and grown-up, and the button placement is such that I can wear the top two buttons open without any "sneak peeks."   I thought the V neck in the tee might be too low but when I put it on, it did not seem to be.  It also did not give me the problem I often have with tees: perfect fit everywhere except for annoying horizontal lines from breast to breast.  (I think that issue is about the drape of the fabric rather than sizing since those tees don't seem to be too small and are not exactly pulling, just sitting funny.) Anyway, I've found a new retailer.  :)
