It’s a little too long with my Rockstuds, and it would have been a tripping hazard. I also didn’t have the right bra with me — it requires a racerback, which I left at home. </p> <p>I wore my navy jumpsuit and white cape-jacket that I wore to a recent wedding. Shopping in Vegas killing time and staying awake before an event tonight, even though I woke up at 4:30am east coast time for my flight here.</p> <p>In Reiss i spotted this dress and gasped. My color. Simple, dramatic. Fits beautifully in the smaller of my usual sizes. Definitely a special occasion dress but we all know that it’s better to have the dress before the occasion, right?? </p> <p>Texted photos to my husband and he replied “OMG I love it! Get it!” Who I to argue?</p> <p>I would wear it tonight but I don’t have the right bra and I think it’s a smidge too long for the shoes I brought. I’m going to try it anyway. If it doesn’t work I’m going to wear the navy jumpsuit I posted recently, which travels well. But I’m crossing fingers I can make it work for the gala tonight! </p>
