If you really felt you didn't want to do this you could always try listing it for sale on Ebay.. but it's probably more straight forward to just return it. I am sure it will be placed for sale somewhere after you return it so someone will get a bargain and a dress they love. I think the situation with the makeup might be something to do with health and safety.. it's a little different to clothing. I never wore it and forgot to return it (rare for me, as I'm usually great about keeping track of my needed returns). It still has the tags on it. I know Nordstrom will take it back...but it's two years old. I feel guilty returning it. I mean, what will even happen to the dress? Will it just be shredded somewhere? Will it be sold at the Rack (in which case, I don't feel as bad)? Last week I returned two unused eyeshadows to MAC and they marked them and threw them in a bin. I said "those weren't opened, they are brand new" and the response was that once they leave the store they are considered unsellable. I felt really wasteful.</p> <p>My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy and that I should just take it back and get my money. But I really am torn about this. Thoughts? (And to think that this post is coming from the self-proclaimed Queen of Returns.) </p>
