If Birks fit me well, I'd be tempted by those. I don't think they'll look too busy with your printed bag because the pattern on the shoes is subtle and will read as a solid from a distance.</p> <p>The only espadrilles I've had are the traditional canvas kind with a true rope sole. Definitely not good in rain or on dewy grass. I finally gave up on the pair I had because they were red and had dye transfer issues. They were very cute though, and had lots of fond memories associated with them.</p> <p>For everyday wear, the ones with a full rubber sole and the rope glued onto the sides are probably more useful, even though they're not as authentic. The light metallics are versatile summer neutrals but I think the white matches the bag best while also being versatile. I personally think the low flat form and overall look of them is fresher than a wedge heel. The espadrille styling is present but subtle. The gizeh is also a really cute shoe. In my experience the most stylish Birks do sell out so if you love them don’t sit on it too long.<br /> As for Arizonas, the narrow styles and sizing down to a 37 (alleged 6.5 - but I’m an 8!) gives me a great fit. Maybe a low wedge heel. They haven't exactly had longevity in my closet, cause they're easy to ruin. I wear sandals exclusively 6+ months of the year (and often part time all but Jan and Feb) though, so burn through them anyway! </p> <p>Burgundy low heeled slide sandals are on the wishlist, but nothing in the shops yet. They'd match the bag handle and most of my wardrobe. There's always a HEWI....</p> <p>Not shoe related, but considering adding a linen skirt to go with the bag too. Olive crops will be on the way as well. </p>
