I found them extremely stiff and uncomfortable, but it didn't bother Beth or many of the people who reviewed them. I also felt they were too tall for me (I am 5'2). My Stuart Weitzman boots are the same height but they hug my leg all the way up, whereas the Miz Mooz boots gaped around the top, which indicates to me that they weren't meant to be that tall.
