Shifted shopping to smaller boutiques and -gasp—more full priced items.</p> <p>Still buy what I call “play clothes”—chino shorts, jeans, tees and cotton sweaters —online on sale from old navy, gap and jcrew.</p> <p>The top is from one of the Boston boutiques off the sale rack and the shorts from several seasons ago at jcrew. Earrings are from the last time big chandelier earring were in fashion —2007? Rag and bone Sandals from dc shopping with Janet.</p> <p>I have no idea if this is classic, modern classic, sale rack chic. Whatever this is…I wore it to dinner. </p>
