Even though I usually push longer sleeves up, I need the control I’ve how much! And they still seem warmer than an actual 3/4 sleeve. But I have 3-4 I won’t part with yet.<br /> However I never tried layering a fitted LS under! I find with my mild winters that 3/4 sleeve knits are good. Short sleeve knits though are rarely worn because if it cool enough for a knit, I want sleeves! Crew in navy. It used to work pretty well for me back in Ontario where I could layer over cashmere (and often did). In the current climate I wear it more rarely. I will say, it's really good quality -- no pilling on mine (and it's old). We had single digit cold for a while (#2, 3, and 4), then the temp bounced to the 50s (#1). More fun socks!<br /> #4 started with the Adidas leggings and then the dress, and then the boots. It's a little too matchy for my taste, but I really wanted to get the boots out of limbo. Number three illustrates the highs and lows of my wardrobe! The pants are 17 years old - who remembers the store Forth and Towne? They're wool crepe and they seem indestructible. The sweater is J Crew cashmere, bought on eBay, and is one of FIVE three quarter length sleeve sweaters that I own. They aren't very useful in cold weather and they're too warm for the rest of the year. I always end up wearing them with something underneath them. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Definitely on the no buy list! </p>
