You are all so supportive I’m sorry to be late to reply. I’ve had some dog dramas today.</p> <p>My mum was ecstatic to be having a family meal again. I even let DH come (I’ve been keeping him away from her to minimise her risk of infection). I’m going to take her to an outdoor cafe next week. </p> <p>My bags have been looking at me reproachfully throughout the lockdown period (along with my few remaining pairs of heeled shoes). I find the crossbody style the most useful for my only outdoor lockdown activities - dog walking and grocery shopping. Especially when you need to be able to easily access hand sanitizer. I don’t think I will be adding anymore clutches or satchels for quite a while. Or heels for that matter.</p> <p>Jenni, Sally, I’m glad you are enjoying the easing of restrictions in NZ too.</p> <p>Angie, Jenn (and everyone), good luck with your re-opening phases. We had takeaway at her home. Even with physical distancing it was a welcome return to semi-normality. (I have been seeing her during the lockdown but only for care related visits.)</p> <p>In honour of Angie, who I know is missing her dad, I wore a seasonal twist on her Spring ensemble of a few weeks ago. An Autumnal column of colour. Even matched my shoes, ring and bag.</p> <p>Two new things:<br /> *The top, which is a silk cotton knit from Jigsaw. I bought a teal version last year that I’ve worn a lot, so I decided to get the plum version this year. It’s a good quality essential, and the sort of thing I want to focus on adding this year.<br /> *The See by Chloe bag, which was an anniversary gift from DH. It was purchased pre-lockdown when bags were more useful.</p> <p>Hopefully we will all be able to spend time with friends and family again soon. </p>
