Freckles, thanks for your reply, too.

I appreciate your feedback.

Yes, I have been busy. I go back to work in a matter of days and am feeling some pressure because my wardrobe is not where I would like it to be. I want to go back to work feeling fabulous. I have a few outfits thanks to the recent shopping expedition but am far from feeling great about everything hanging in the closet.

I am waiting to hear back from Eloquii customer service about where the items are made. Mexico charges insane taxes on Chinese imported goods so I am crossing my fingers this is not the case. It might break my heart if it is!

I will keep you posted, and thanks again for the validation. I really hope this works out, I think it will be a kick a** wardrobe!

Wow you've been busy sorting out your wardrobe!
1. Yes yes yes cognac boots and anything
2. I think you're getting investment pieces colour co-oridinated in a palette so no not too much purple. I imagine you really like it anyway if you've chosen these pieces when other colours of the same thing were available so go for it.
3. Sorry no idea
4. Yes. The only thing I'd be careful of is the orange sweater as you have already chosen red in your palette so it is an anomily.
5. I'd like to see a picture of yours, you just might. Use a photo program you can link to until you can post pics here. I'd also like to see the other items you mentioned from your wardrobe or just bought in pics too.
6. Yes
7. I would stay with the grey. It would go beautifully with the blazer that has the grey elbow patches as well as other pieces. I find it could also be worn more often and not be such a statement. I will say though that if the blue is your dynamite colour ignore what I said and go for it.
8. I am on my third round of bow blouses in adult lifetime and I find that style doesn't have the staying power of other pieces. All said though, when I wore it last time I wore it to death and loved it with a passion a button down doesn't give you.
9. How about a print in a black brown grey colour scheme? You also have already a
blouse in a grey purple red/grey purple/purple eggplant schemes so maybe another one with a blue combination of the colours in your scheme?

I had never heard of this site before, but it looks great. You have really worked out a great wardrobe.

To answer your questions:

1. You can wear cognac boots with anything and any color IMO so you are good to go there.

2. As far as too much purple, I think in building your work wardrobe capsule you need to focus on just one or two accent colors to make everything cohesive. I don't think you have too much purple.

3. I am familiar with The Limite and I think they have a fairy decent line quality wise, not sure about Eloquii.

4. Great mix of colors and items to make a great wardrobe here.

5. It sounds as I'd the scarf you have is very similar, I might look for something different to give you a completely different look from the leopard that you already have.

6. See one above.

7. The blue is pretty, but seems a little bright and might be harder to work with the pieces you have here.

8. Definetly classic IMO.

9. That is a very pretty blouse. I like both colors, I think the green could work very well with the other pieces here, so maybe that would help you feel like you are expanding the color choices a little. But I dont think you can go wrong with the purple either. Maybe you should go with green, now that I think about it. If you are already worried you ha e too much purple, than maybe you do!

Hope that helps.

Hi Vicki, I really appreciate you taking the time to look over my post. I know it is a bit long and asking a lot of questions but I really do respect what the board members have to say. I am glad you think I am on target. I think I might leave off the purple leopard top and try to get a similar one I saw in the store here but only in tan and black, probably better to mix the color palette a little.

Anyway, again, I really appreciate it!!!

abc, You are not certifiably crazy; you're organized. I'm at the airport but wanted to give you some validation, because reading the list on my tiny iPhone screen, it looks like you've got a wonderful mix to your wardrobe and I love your color choices. When I get to my iPad I'll take a closer look. You're doing it right.

PS I also should mention that I am American but now living in Mexico City. Being plus size my options are limited - sadly here plus size means elastic waist pants and not usually fashionable options. This is why I am thinking to order online from USA and ship here.

I scoured the Eloquii site and have chosen some items I would like your input on.

Back story: I am returning to work in 1 week from maternity leave. Before going on leave my wardrobe was pretty pathetic. I am trying to revamp and up my style with classic pieces plus some fun trendy things thrown in each season.

I just went shopping (bricks and mortar) and got the following:
black pencil skirt
paisley long sleeve button down (blue, purple, red Liberty print)
Short sleeve print blouse, ruffle detail at neck (grays, purples)
deep purple/eggplant sweater with black button detail on sleeve
wool blazer - light purple/lavender color with gray suede elbow patches

Already in my closet and usable for work:
Brown skirt
various button down longsleeve shirts (white, dark blue, etc)
The rest is pretty bad

My wish list:
suit(s) in classic colors - black, brown, gray
dresses
print tops that mix and match with the suiting separates
Classic pieces that can be mix and matched

So right now my Eloquii cart includes the following:
Classic black vneck dress
Gray wrap 3/4 sleeve dress
hot pink patterned dress
Gray and black pencil skirt
brown wideleg trousers
black skinny trousers
black jacket
gray cardigan
solid purple bow blouse
3 printed tops
orange short sleeve sweater
1 scarf
1 purse
1 free purse with purchase
4 belts - leopard print skinny, black skinny, black obi, and black wide with silver detail

Here is a link to the wishlist:
http://www.eloquii.com/on/dema.....cXq6RG7eb4

Get The Look (complete outfits) displayed here:
http://www.eloquii.com/eloquii.....lt,sc.html

my questions are (and please forgive me for so many):
1. Can the gray sweater be worn with cognac tall boots (Duo Gravina)
2. Do I have too much purple overall? Especially in the tops and sweaters.
3. What is the quality of Limited clothes? Have not shopped there in years. Is this stuff overpriced for what you get? (25% off right now)
4. Do I have a decent amount of mix and match ability with these items? I think so especially if you check out the "Get The Look" page
5. I have a scarf that is wool and a leopard print with a bit of purple. Is it too similar to the one in my wishlist? The Eloquii one has a huge print vs mine is smaller. And wool vs not.
6. Can I wear the black straight leg knit trousers with cognac boots?
7. The wrap dress comes in gray or blue. I opted for gray for the most flexibility, do you think I should consider blue instead?
8. Are these items classic (except for the accessories) and can be staples in my wardrobe for longer than a season or two?
9. Bow Blouse - purple or green? I love the purple but see question 2 above.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! And yes, I am totally, certifiably crazy!
