The only tip I have is to try it on a scrap of a similar fabric first, so you can get your stitch settings right before you work on your shirt. If it's a soft knit, it might help to put a stabilizer on the fabric before you sew? I printed out a star stencil online, pick up a tiny bit of fabric and sew on garment using the button hole stitch on my machine? Any sewing experts out there feel free to offer tips and advice! </p>
