I have been seeing this too. I actually bought a pair of white jeans on sale that have this make up. It seems most of the Rich and Skinny brand is going this route. I have washed my white jeans and they have relaxed though not as badly as the matchsticks do. So I'm suspicious that they will maintain their shape, especially the Express brand. I suspect the 2 is the right size for you, Maya.

Sihaya, let me know how they work out. I'm afraid to wash mine until I'm sure they're the right size. Maybe I should have bought the 4's after all.

I’ve been seeing it too Maya, but I do not have firsthand experience with the integrity of the fabric yet. I’ll let you know once I do.

Also, I’m glad you got the Mia in a 2.

Hi Maya - I have Mia's but haven't washed them yet. I have worn them 3 times with no significant growth but the wash will be the true test which is next on my list.

I went ahead and got the Express Mia skinnies today and was kind of torn as to what size to get. The 2's were a little tight and giving me a wee bit of muffin top...not really that bad since the rise was nice and high, but still snug. The 4's were a lot more comfortable...a tiny bit loose but not visibly so. I erred on the side of small because they have a lot of stretch and if they grew or if I lost weight, the 4's would not fit.

My question is this: Angie says don't go for more than 2% stretch, but recently I have been spotting a lot of jeans that have a material called elasterell (or some derivative of that word/name), and it's always in much higher percentages than other stretch materials. In this case, it's 13% elasterell, 87% cotton. The Boden jeans I want to get also have a similar makeup. A quick google search reveals that it's supposed to shrink back to the original shape and have a better elasticity than other stretch materials. Is this true? Should I have just gotten the 4's then? If you have the Mias, did they grow at all?
