The top is beautiful but I too would probably snag it on something. Did you get the jacket at Nordstrom? Anything from there I’d return to them for a refund. If it’s from elsewhere I ‘d contact EF, Given their green push, if I had problems I’d say it didn’t match their sustainability goals and ask for a refund.

EF does repairs. Contact them. I will look for the email address fir repairs on my desk top
I have no experience with that top but have had threads get pulled in delicate linen knits. I have done what J Aileen describes.
ETA: I found the link but it seems to no longer work. You could call them at 1-800-445-1603 !onday-Friday 9am-10pm EST or email

No but ghd teal color is gorgeous.
I echo above about loose knits— I’m wary just because it’s so easy to pull a thread, and not sure that comes down to a quality issue vs. certain fabric “ effects” are lovely but delicate. I usually examine such knits very carefully— it’s better if in store with several because I look also to see if any pulls have shown up already or if they’re hanging the items
VERY carefully, etc.
I agree with calling EF customer service about the jacket.

The top looks great! I have a couple of EF asymmetric linen tops that have worn very well. I think I bought them when I first joined YLF. However, they are a much finer knit than this one. With pulls, I try to stretch them taut, and if there is any of the pull still jutting out, I take it to the other side with a needle or crochet hook.

I’m shocked to hear of your jacket. Did you contact EF? I would think they would want to know of the poor quality. It’s conceivable they might even refund you, although there’s no guarantee, of course. I hope you let them know, and that they do the right thing.

Wow, I've had super good luck with EF except one pull over that developed holes but it could have caught on my belt. Not sure. I have not tried on that top but I have one from several years ago from the "fisher project" era. It's probably 4-5 yo and still looks new. Pretty tops, both of them.

I have had my eye on that top also but am hesitant for the same reasons. I had another very similar top from EF that only lasted a season because a thread was pulled that ruined it (side note; is there any way to fix this?). I am not the most careful person (I can't really even blame my kids) so I'm not sure this is practical top for me. I'm curious to see how others respond.

I've had hit and miss luck with EF quality, which is frustrating as it's expensive to me.

I have an asymmetrical woven linen top I love and has worn well. I have a yak hair jacket trimmed in leather whose sleeve literally fell off. After having that repaired, there is now a hole in the left elbow. I've worn this very expensive jacket like 5 times. It was supposed to be a workhorse, and if the quality would've been there, it would have been.

Anyone have any experience with this top?

https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/e.....933680?ori

It looks fun, my spring/summer wardrobe is boring, and it looks like something I'd actually reach for an wear a lot.

I tried the top Angie had in her finds, but the pretty pink color was sold out in my size, and olive is not a good color on me.
