Oh, Briar- thanks. So you are a 6 and you got them in xs? I am usually between a 4-6 and a bit curvy. I was going to go S, but maybe I should get both?

Bought them in charcoal during NAS. Very nice. I am a curvy 6 in most pants but these fit in XS (2-4) like a slim trouser, not a legging, so would recommend going a size down.

I bought black and grey and returned both. I like that these have a fly front and pockets, and I like the length -- not what I'd call ankle, with a 31" inseam these stack at the ankle and drape just enough over the top of my foot.

Returned nonetheless: the fabric is lighter weight than my staple EF ponte knit pants (I have her slim ankle and zip ankle in black ponte and black heavyweight rayon). It's a fabric that feels in between her washable crepe and her ponte. Also, the waist is just too wide for me even sized down, at which point the leg is too slim, too legging-like for my workplace.

Really lovely fabric and well sewn, just not quite the right fit or fabric for my needs.

i have a pair of EF black ponte knit pants that have been an integral part of y work wardrobe for the last 4 or 5 years (i've lost track). i can't imagine my work wardrobe without them. they are perfect for everything but the warmest days of summer. i also like that are great for non work events when i'm not sure if jeans are acceptable, but don't want to be over dressed.

I bought these in charcoal and the black pair is on the way. I've only tried them on, as I live in heat and humidity and don't work in an office. The fabric is a little bit more substantial than I am used to, which is great for professional wear. If the pants work for you the investment will be worth it, as they should last for years, style-wise and quality -wise.

My constitution is weak or perhaps I am convinced of my needs now vs wants. Anyway, I have a Nordie's bag that I have been visiting and I am slowly realizing these EF pants might be the perfect work-pant for me. Professional but not too staid. Skinny but not sausage-y. I do wish it were full length instead of ankle, but I could work with it. They are a bit of an investment for me. I've never done EF before, but I know it gets rave reviews, so wondering if anyone had experience with this actual pant?
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ei.....gin=shoppi
And for kicks, throw in your color preference. :)
(SOrry for no pic; trying to figure it out still)
