That is a good review and excellent information for many, I'm sure. My concern with these had been the thinner material. Sounds as if that would be a deal-breaker for me, too.

Good review! It was worth a try, and another brand might work nicely for you. I found the same form-fitting problem with the skirt on the sized-down pair. That's why I went with the larger one, which I then had to alter, to take in the sides of the skirt. The leggings tend to creep down on me, but I am willing to put up with it, as it's not severe.

Thanks for the review!
I am seeing more benefit in trying things (if time allows, free shipping) because even if it doesn't work, it may point me in the right direction--more this, less that.

Good to know, Echo, thanks. I've been obsessing over these, and the sheerer quality of the knit nails that coffin shut . Deal breaker for me.

I am a lemming and ordered the EF skirted leggings. Here is my review. First, I very much like the material; it is stretchy and likely thick enough for most wearers. Unfortunately, however, there is a very slight sheen to the leggings and they are very slightly translucent in the legs, especially when bending a knee. I do have thick legs, though, so a person with slimmer legs would likely not have an issue with that.

I have heard it said that the legs can be baggy and to size down. Although these leggings are stretchy enough to allow for that, I found the skirt a bit short and the leggings and skirt a bit clingy when sized down. They definitely follow the curve of the bum, making them look a little more form-fitting than they feel. They fell about 3 or 4 " above the knee on me (and could possibly creep higher with wear), which is just too short. Add that to the form-fitting aspect and slightly translucent legs when I bend, and it isn't a good look for me. I am only 5'3", but I am long waisted, so perhaps I pull them up farther than other people, thus making the skirt shorter than it would be if worn lower on the hip.

However, I can definitely see the appeal with these. They are very comfortable, and a person who wears skirts more often would likely find them more to their liking. I commonly wear dresses or pants, but very rarely skirts. I thought I could still make these work with tunics, but they just aren't "me". At least I have the skirted legging bug out of my system now.
