Being from a country where fashion is still in the 80s :)&nbsp; I look at brands&nbsp;with an unprejudiced eye for the most part.</p> <p>I find it that many people online at least, do not even consider EF because of that hang up. The clothes are simple and many items are edgier (check out the new for fall reversible asymmetric black and white top that will be available soon) and the fabrics are for the most part very good. So yes, you do need to evaluate, just as you would evaluate " fitted" styles for losing their elegance, too. And you will probably still try to mix and juxtapose fits to get the overall effect you want.<br /> Remember things look different with movement, too-- so, well- fitting things in good fabrics, even with some ease or slouch, still drape and show curves or leg structure or whatever IRL.<br /> There's so much about frumpy that is generic and not one designer. EF uses a lot of fluid fabrics and boxy fits so anyone could in theory select a totally oversized and shapeless fit-- " hiding" in swaths of fabrics , maybe, for weight or figure concerns. Same person could do the same with cookie- cutter sized " tailored" clothes that aren't tailored to her.
