Here is same with one roll--I like the length, but rolling makes it too tight due to the taper, so I would have to have them hemmed. Prolly will not for this pair.

Shown with a spring casual jacket from TJ Maxx--which I swear is my last ruched sleeve jacket! (Hmm). It has a white-gray dot that makes a nice bridge to white items--I don't wear a lot of white, but this helps with mix & match.

I like all of these looks - very crisp for summer! To my eye, the length of these crops are fine, but I do not have any crops in my closet because I prefer shorts in the summer. That being said, I am aiming to add one or two pairs to wear over the spring while at work, so I will be watching this thread to see what kind of feedback you get on length.

I would like to see them in a shorter length as well. As is they are not awful at all but I am not sure they have the most flattering proportions either. Have you tried to roll them up to see how they look?
I also prefer a longer jacket but I don't think I would mind a tucked in top, it is the cropped jacket which I don't really feel with them.
The flats sound like a great summer find!

I think the deeper color of these pants is particularly pleasing --- great with many colors. The ease is terrific, too. As for the length? I'm very unsure on this topic myself. I'd suggest taking photos --- front and side, at least, with them rolled once and twice. In my opinion, the perfect proportion depends upon the taper of the pant, the height of the wearer and the shape of the calf. In other words, it's more art than science.

I'd wear the length you have here, because I have muscular calves, and don't like to bisect the widest portion of my lower leg.

I like these pants best with longer toppers. Summer will be here before we know it!

You know from my posts that I'm not too with it with this sort of thing, but I think the length looks good. I also agree with Rachylou about the longer tops.Hope you can make it through the summer with them!

I like the crops with the longer tops/toppers - as in 1 and 3.
Here are some summer stylings of old with new.

I have mostly been a khaki pant/non-crop person, but did have several pairs and purged most that looked stumpy and frumpy. I saved a couple of pairs due to specific colors & fit.

I saved these because I like that they are slightly tapered, cotton and have an easy fit but fit in the waist. They may be at the dreaded length, though.

They are cuffed and I haven't tried rolling them. At the time I bought them, I was looking all over for actual long cotton or cotton-blend pants with the same taper and fit but have never found any.
#1--a last year's outfit creation with the same top & blazer I have now paired with my EF gray cuffed trousers. Wedge sandals provide leg length but are not my most comfie.
#2--trying with jean jacket--not sure I like the proportions as well
3#--casual with new mint and gray boatneck top--was parched for paler colors.
Not shown, but have also worn my fuchsia casual blazer with these and it works pretty well.

Also shown in the photos are some slipper flats from DSW. Not sure they show up well but are a kind of denim blue stripe on cream with a trim of indeterminate red--it can skew red or pink or fuchsia. These are proving to be a good summer flat so far--go with denim, khaki and low-ish contrast with pale legs; can wear sans socks, not a hiking show but comfie for most of day, errands/shopping, in place of tennies.

What say you? Still too frumpy, or only if shorter? I want to try to hold off on any new crops this summer, get another year from these because don't need more casual wear (being cold-natured I might wear these when others would be in shorts) and really prefer lightweight long pants, but maybe could eek out the summer with some better stylings.
