Mine did too, Kate. I need to hem them shorter anyway though, so I guess this is the motivation I need.

Kate, I thought of you today because this exact same thing happened to me on my Gap Perfect Trousers. Very annoying. I was at work and the entire hem came undone on one leg. I asked the in-house alterations people if they would help me during my fashion crisis and they gladly stitched me up, but what a nuisance!

Oh, good call with the hemming tape... I might try that instead. I'm really not sure how much people notice hems anyway, but I do need to think about what's best since the pants have some stretch to them.

The zip in the back is odd, I'm still not sure what to make of it, and always double check to make sure I properly closed the clasp so that there's no chance of the pants unzipping. I read some reviews, and sized down to a 0. They weren't too tight in the store, but haven't bagged out, so I think I chose a good size. I do have some clothes in 0s (oh vanity sizing), but most of my gap bottoms are 2s or 4s. Did you size down?

Kate, If you like the look of an invisible hem, you could try some hemming tape.

I bought a pair of these pants in gray off the clearance rack this past weekend. Call me immature, but that zip in the back cracks up me! Did you size down on these pants?

The hidden hem stitch on one leg of my pants came completely undone! Obviously this is completely fixable, and I'll probably just end up re-hemming both pant legs with a visible (and stronger) hem. Anyway, I'm not sure if they even have the same Gap pants for sale now (mine are brown, have no belt loops, and zip in the back), but just something to be aware of for anyone who has them or is considering buying them. Other than that and their crazy cat-hair picking-up abilities, I do really like the pants!
