I ordered a watch from them about 2 weeks ago, and still have not received my merchandise. I will give them one more day, and if not received, I intend to dispute the charges through my credit card company. They do not have a customer service number no where to be found on their site, and this disturbs me. I feel that if they want to prove that they are reputable company, they should at least include contact information other than email addresses on their website. I say good luck to those that dare to give them your money. I just hope they did not make off with my hard earned cash in this economy.

Shannon, you can send it to me at blitzberry(at)yahoo(dot)com. (use the normal format, I just wrote it like that incase a spammer is sweeping. I use that account for junk mail and when I have to write in an email address for something small- like a drawing, so it doesn't matter if it's on here.

I would love to give you my email address for this, that is awesome of you to want to do this for me. I don't know how I would give it to you though without posting it to this forum and I'm not sure if I want to do that. What can it hurt though, really? It's not that I don't trust all of these ladies that are here for good advice and conversation, but others might be lurking. Do you think it's safe? I'm very paranoid of the internet sometimes.

Hi, I'm Michael from Editors' Closet.
I just wanted to let you know that when we talk about sample sales, we don't specifically mean samples of apparel used in runway show. Most of the time, we have sizes going from O to 12.
Membership is free and you don't need to buy anything to be member.
So check it out, I'm sure you'll find something interesting in the future sales coming up !

Mannequins vary in size because clothing varies in size. You are looking at a size between a 0 and 4 for most mannequins.

What is a mannequin size? I wear between a 2 and 4. I am always having sales people pull clothes off of the mannequins for me. Are they smaller than that? Maybe a 0? Because I don't think I'm as skinny as a mannequin.

I was kinda thinking the same thing, Angie. And at an 8, I'm definitely not sample size. I haven't joined yet, but I think I will just to check it out. After all, maybe they have some nice accessories, which are one size fits all!

Fashion buyers and manufacturers have sample sales all the time. There are loads of prototypes that get made before an official order is shipped (for quality control purposes, and so that buyers know what they've ordered). This is contractual. Buyers can end up with 10 samples for one order alone and rails FULL of samples that they need to keep for a certain length of time so that no one sues anyone.

Only problem that I foresee is that samples are always in "sample size" and unless you are this size (mannequin size), chances are high that you’re not going to benefit from the sample. I’d love to know if things are different for the Editors Closet.

I have never heard of it before either....I've never heard of sample sales either. What exactly does that mean?

Their website is very secretive, though. I wonder if they make it like that to create an air of exclusiveness and to make people want to be part of it.

I have not heard of this before, but I looked at the website and now I want to be a part of it. Once you register, please refer me! Can't loose anything. Registration is free. Are you required to buy anything? If not, go for it. I would love to shop sample sales but don't live in an area that has any.

A friend of mine just sent me an invitation to join Editor's Closet. They do online sample sales. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them? Are they worth it? Anyone a member and have experience with them?

Thanks!
