Trying to sort this stuff out too. I even put some box-tops in my drawers to separate types of undies and types of socks (low, high, etc).
The belts are an issue. I like them but often forget to wear them. And right now I feel very “over” all my thin belts but I hesitate to donate them before I fully understand why my feelings about them have changed....

Great job! You have kept the best and removed the rest. I understand the ease of online shopping and the temptation of sales....so easy to get those packages coming in the mail.
Before I sorted my underwear drawer I ordered cloth drawer dividers. Those really helped me decide what to keep and what to let go of. I mean, how many pairs of panties does a girl really need?

Good job! I always find it so satisfying when those drawers are tidy and full of items you actually want to wear.

Nice work!
You just reminded me that I have a bunch of belts gifted to me by my neighbor, and I need to actually start wearing them so I can get rid of any that don't work once they're on my body

Yes, but this is only 4 drawers.
Janet, how is it that bras the same size from the same brand can fit so differently?

Joy, one of the body shapers was under the bra, but the other 3 were shown over. Clearly I need to try a larger size. The first one I bought was with the help of an SA. Still no match for Chicago heat and humidity. I guess the answer is to keep trying In Person!

Now to the next step. Today I when’re to get a flu shot and the woman ahead of me was wearing the same tee I bought a couple of months ago and it looked so great on her! New challenges each year.

Great work. Your drawers look like you can easily find what you want. I have way too many socks but in winter I change socks during the day to keep feet warm so often wear 3 pair a day. Less may cause a laundry problem. The body shaper should scoop below your bra so that it lifts everything up. I am a 30D but buy a large in the shapers so they just smooth.

Oh, I need to do this too. I edited belts last year and don't think I've worn half of them since.

Sigh, I dread the bra try-on. I have some really pretty ones that I haven't been wearing -- I suspect they're too small now. You and I are the same size! It's crazy to me how one bra can fit and feel pretty comfortable, but the shape looks all wrong, while another looks OK but feels awful. I can't tolerate scratchy lace or edges anymore, which limits my options too.

Inspired by cjh and her sock drawer edit, I decided to take a look at mine. The more closet edit posts I read the more I think I could do this!

I don’t wear socks often in the warmer months, and lately I’ve found that many socks are too uncomfortable for my aging feet or too tight in the calf. I tossed or donated a dozen pairs, and as you can see, I have compression socks, compression trouser socks (which I now don’t like much) and comfy or colorful socks.

The three colorful socks are from Disney World. Bought to compete with the academia sock contest, but haven't entered yet. They are incredibly comfortable, but I checked online, and the ones in the Disney store are different from the ones I bought in Florida and I wonder if they will be comfy.

I moved on to underwear. Already sorted out panties, but tossed a couple more frayed ones.

Found out I have 4 body shapers—never worn. These are the kind that are like a cami and fit over bra. One I took to a wedding to wear under a silk sheath dress, but it was so hot and humid I let the rolls roll on. All uncomfortably small and they flatten my breasts, even though going by chart measurements they should fit. Donate: All

I have a drawer full of bras I bought on sale—brands I wear but different styles. So every day I’m trying a different bra from Freya & Chantelle. Have worn 2 so far, one goes. I hate it when a bra is comfy and fits, but makes me look--um sad. I need a 32 G, F just doesn't do it.

Belt drawer: Currently have a loved silver belt from BR 2010. One 2016 BR navy suede is small and stiff. Donated. Remaining are 8 belts, several very stiff so not worn often. Goal to wear and soften these belts. Worn 2 thus far and are keepers.

I believe in one in one out, but I can't do it. I know I shouldn't buy so much stuff on sale because it's a bargain. I didn't used to be this way, but shopping online is so easy--just that click and it's mine!
