These sandals are definitely different than what I would usually choose (which in my book makes them either edgy or granny simply by default.) And I think I know what you mean regarding edgy vs. sweet. I too am trying to cut back on the sweetness of my clothing so these would be edgy relative to my tends-to-be-too-sweet style and I'd feel edgy wearing them. I think the gladiator look of these gives them a nice non-sweet feel. </p> <p>Definite yay on the metallic.
