(evil conspiring laughter)  I have slightly wide feet too... width was not the problem with these.  Hmmmm.  I have to confess, though, that I suspect they would probably be sit down shoes. Do you have any pictures illustrating what you've got in mind? And do you mean like, ankle straps on the shoes, or literally ankle bracelets the jewellery? But I tend to have wide-ish feet. Not super wide, but enough that anything with a narrow/pointy toe box is usually out of the running for me. Are the 'vogs as narrow as they look in pics? I've always wanted a pair, but not if they end up as another pair of "sitting down shoes."  Also, I hadn't even considered a black heel. I like the look a lot, and it seems to eliminate the stumpification of a black toe completely. I also wore them to a wedding with a plain silk, draped dress & print/water-colour effect silk jacket the dress & jacket. This was less edgy but still "me". I don't tend to wear them with my more classic outfits, I need edgy shoes then, as a nod to my more avant garde side. K. I LOVED the way they seemed to add a mile to my legs (maybe because they were staggeringly high ) but I left them because I just wasn't sure how to work a nude pump into an edgy/gothy look. Is there such a thing? I was thinking maybe if I added a black cap toe, they wouldn't look quite as "off" and the black toe shouldn't be sufficient to eliminate the leg lengthening. Even then, the only way I'm imagining wearing a nude shade is with leopard print, which has similar tones. Or maybe if I added some studs/hardware detailing? I'm really torn here. Basically, does anyone have examples or ideas for how to make these work with my style, or is it just not viable?  (PS - if you plan to google "nude pumps," for pete's sake make sure you turn on the adult safe search option. yeesh.)
