It certainly doesn't affect the amount of items I have. I regularly browse Nordstrom Rack and find lots of goodies. I also return alot either if the item doesn't work or I have second thoughts. Still enjoy the thrill of the purchase and then I feel thrifty if I return it. It's twisted logic, but it works for me. However, even at bargain basement prices I am hesitant to buy things that aren't just so. This afternoon, for example, I found two purses for £3 each, one purple and one turquoise. I've been searching for some bright colored handbags, especially a turquoise one, but they both had short straps and the blue one was kinda flimsy, so I didn't get them. </p> <p>But I did find a nice long-sleeved blue blouse, which can replace my 3/4 length sleeved one that I don't like so much, and a jacket that just happens to match a skirt I bought several years ago. I never even knew they originally came as a suit! Same for coupons - I won't stop by a store just because I have a coupon, but if I am planning a purchase I will try to get it at a discount.</p> <p>My favorite economical fashion splurge is a small accessory I need, but haven't been able to focus on.
