Chief among these is probably black. I am sure there are other times I sounded like a hypocrite, if one compares my words and actions. </p> <p>2. Changing what I wear. Far and away the biggest change is leaning into a more feminine style. For years, I scarcely wore pink at all. Ditsy florals (other than maternity dresses) were also very rare for me; the one skirt I can recall was worn with a low-back bodysuit and “big” sneakers. Now I wear that skirt with light-colored tops, including pink, and my little white sandals; ditzy is practically signature for me. Pink &amp; pastels are suddenly a big part of my closet. I’m not sure what’s happening here, but think I’m going to continue to explore this direction for a while. </p> <p>Bonus round: this isn’t something I said I never do, but I certainly never expected myself to enjoy putting together complicated outfits like these. I want to do more.
