Thanks for the boosts!

FashionIntern, thanks for the comment on the pattern.

TorontoGirl, CardiffGirl, and Angie, I definitely have red toppers, but more casual. I'll play with it.

Shiny, I can't do a lot of Mustard - I love it, and it looks fab on my DD, but washes me out unless i find just the right shade. But i'll keep looking!

Cindysmith, no promises on keeping it clean! But I love the look of cream on top of colors so i keep trying!

Suntiger and LaPed thanks for the other color ideas. I hadn't thought of fuschia or denim. More options to shop my closet.

That bag is delightful! Love me a colorblock bag. You could wear just about any colour topper you choose -- cream would be very elegant, forest green sounds good, but don't discount brights. Red, turquoise, fuchsia, cobalt? Or go Angie's direction and add sky blue? Light wash denim?

How about some red?

Cream blazer would be gorgeous. Red seems to be trending, and a burgundy would also blend in beautifully.

I like the leopard especially, and definitely both together! Forest green, red-burgundy, mustard, chocolate brown, cream, etc..should all work.

Cream topper. Just feels more elegant to me, (maybe because I associate white clothes with people who can keep whites white because they don't work in the garden like me lol)

Forest green would be pretty too, or a burgundy.

I vote for the green, or maybe even red. I don't think you have to worry about too much contrast--the print being that small makes the contrast less noticeable.

I'm taking the plunge and adding some more earthy colors.

So these are 2 new finds for me - both from labor day sales. The bag is fantastic and the cream color will go well with many other items. The sweater is more contrast than I usually like, but in person, the accent brown in the print is more visible.

I'm planing to work these in with black pants or skirt, and either a cream blazer or a colored cardigan, maybe a dark forest green? Other suggestions?
