Well, that was the plan before my 10-year-old daughter injured her knee and now needs crutches to get around. We might end up just lazing around at the inn where we're staying, which would be fine with me. (We'll also spend a few hours in Forks for the benefit of the Twilight-obsessed international student we're hosting. If they don't work for me, I'll return them or give them away. I'm on a quest to find moderately high-heeled shoes that don't feel like torture. If the color is close to how it looks on the screen it might work as a nude with my skin tone, so I might try them with a pencil skirt. These Earthies Halley booties were 70% off on 6pm.com (Zappos' clearance site), and they're on their way to me now. It seems like an odd time of year to buy suede booties, but they were a great deal, and since I live in Seattle, I will probably still have opportunity to wear them before summer weather begins. Yay or Nay on these shoes? </p>
