I am keeping track of numbers since I'm aiming for one-in-one-out this year. Out: 5 coats, 3 sweaters, 7 knit tops, 1 pair of pants, 3 sets of PJs, and 2 sweatshirts. The coats and sweaters were oversubscribed so I'm at homeostasis with them now, ditto with pants, and I've already replaced the PJs (at least for winter). That gives me a little room for winter knit tops (though I have plenty) and I do need some new winter workout 'jackets' (i.e. hoodies). I still need to cull some blazers and I'm not allowed to buy more jeans because I have tons!
