The footbed is nicely padded. If the straps would feel too restrictive for you, you could easily put in any stretchy material of your choice - that's part of the beauty of them, you can endlessly customize them. I told my BF today these will be 20 year sandals for me, and I'm totally serious. (they are the most expensive item to date in my wardrobe but they are already 10 sandals in 1 basically, and the sky is the limit really)<br /> Suz, yes MiniMo thinks most anything is his to play with.
