I just bought a pair of slippers made from a Danish company, Glerups, that made me toss away my Haflingers which also kept sliding off my feet. My new Glerups are the bootie style and I absolutely love how they feel on my bare feet. I wear them several hours a day. They don't slip off but the sheepskin is starting to come off. The ugg slippers in pic 2 I have worn for 10 months several hours a day. No signs of wearing at all but they don't fit my feet as well. I have very narrow feet though. The second ones are worth the cost in my opinion. Best of all, they were only $25! Unfortunately, they wore out inside in&nbsp;less than six months. &nbsp;The sheepskin lining disintegrated and so did the leather or whatever lining was beneath it.&nbsp;</p> <p>Prior to this I had a more expensive soft-soled pair that lasted for about a year before they developed holes. &nbsp;I't recall the brand.</p> <p>Is there something similar out there that will last for longer, or is this typical for slippers? &nbsp;I do wear them for several hours a day, every day.</p>
