I had a pair of lace up ankle booties that I wore all the time, but they squeaked. I just couldn't take it anymore and invested in a pair of Rockport one's that do not squeak. They were by Taryn Rose, and I did not want to wear them out, so I duplicated.</p> <p>The ones I bought were sold out in my size, so I bought a pair by ECCO, and they are SO comfortable and wonderful that now I never wear my original pair as they are just not as comfortable.</p> <p>I even put on the first pair this morning, took them off and put on the ECCO ones.</p> <p>It is too bad there are no good consignment stores in my area. Perhaps e-Bay . . . </p>
