I wear an 8.5 and wasn't sure whether to order a 39 or 40 in the style I chose. I emailed my questions to customer service, and they were very helpful and responded pretty quickly. I would do that, since different styles run differently. I have 16.5" calves.</p> <p>Anyway I was hoping you all that own a pair could give me some feedback on sizing.<br /> Do you find the shoe sizing accurate? I wear an 8.5 or 9 most of the time, and usually by 9's in boots for some wiggle room. Should I stick with a 9 US (40 UK) in Duo, or should they size up or down?</p> <p>Also, I measured my calf and held the tape taut but not tight and got 41 cm. Should I add a couple cm for pant tucking?? Or just rely on the natural stretch out of leather to make them more comfortable in the future??? </p>
