She took me to a boutique which was the kind of place where a tee cost $200. In the back room there were just a few pairs of shoes 50% off, including these which were just my size. I don't know if you can see but they have a diamond stitch pattern. At 50% off they were about 50% more than I'd ever spent on a shoe. And it had never occurred to me to buy a cognac/toffee bootie.&nbsp;But it was love. I haven't regretted the purchase one moment.</p> <p>I love planning and I love a minimal wardrobe. But some of my best purchases are extravagant, spontaneous buys. There are just some moments when your heart speaks. And I also wanted to try the toffee, tomato, white, and burgundy look, sans the tomato because I don't have a speck of it in my wardrobe, even in a print.</p> <p>So I wore this today and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I suspected that the outfit had too many cuts (at waist and ankle) and wasn't doing me any favors flattery wise. And my legs aren't long to begin with.</p> <p>What do you think?
