I've been to the Calgary location quite a few times now , and it's totally hit and miss . Lots in the upper price ranges (Calgary is a money city ) but a mixed bag of stuff in the mid range . A lot of the house branded mdse looks better in pictures than it does in reality - let's face it : everything is made in the same factories . The shoe department is a logistical nightmare and I can't see how anyone copes with it unless you have a major budget . I have fun in the makeup , sunglasses and jewelry and fly through the rest That said , I make sure to visit it every time I'm in the city ! I tried on a number of pairs of shoes but nothing jumped out at me. And as Elizabeth P said the range is fairly limited - either tshirts I can get at home or way beyond my budget, especially for a casual purchase. It's a fun experience. It's a really nice department store. Well kept, nice lighting, great displays, etc. Really handy to know the brand names before you go though. We recently got a Nordstrom in Vancouver, and but I haven't had a lot of luck there. I was looking forward to their arrival, mainly for the footwear, but what I've found is that all their shoes are either designer ones that are waaaaaay out of my league (like, $1500 a pair), or else inexpensive but too mainstream for my taste.
