Only about halfway through are there some where the effects of the padding is obvious to me, and then I notice the arms looking skinny, sticking out from the enlarged shoulders. I believe that this trend originated with Dries van Noten's spring 2019 RTW show (shown in September 2018). He included lots of this look, from simple tanks to button downs for day and evening wear, to dresses. I think it looks harmonious in this particular show. I'm always fascinated by what trickles down from runway shows and becomes a trend--who knows why?&nbsp; </p>
