I enjoyed it very much...it was nice to hear the voice of this amazing designer! I have to confess that I did not buy the book but wanted to. Two reasons: we are traveling very light on this 33-day trip which encompasses 3 seasons; and I was a little miffed when I discovered that the English edition cost nearly $15 more than the French edition. Ouch! But I do wish I owned it because the exhibit was fantastic and I absolutely love learning about the creative process. It is a topic that has fascinated me since the '70's. Freckles: I would say that Ireland and Paris are my top two travel places in the world. You can never go wrong with them, they have so much to offer and their unique attributes are indeed unique. So keep on traveling (this written from my bed in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where I am recovering from a severe case of food poisoning that hit me in another country which I will not name). I've seen fantastic photos on Instagram and the internet, and I received the book that accompanies the exhibition as a gift (it's stunning, and it's extremely interesting to be able to browse Dries' inspiration sources). I really want to go see the exhibit too. It is absolutely fantastic and so inspirational! And it's a big one, too -- lots to see and process. I saw it this past week and was overwhelmed by the luscious colors, patterns, and unbelievably smart ways that the creative process was displayed. So if you have been wondering if it is worth a trip to Paris, I say "Yes. Run, don't walk!"
