I would not normally advise exactly that look for an inverted triangle cause it's pretty top heavy&nbsp;but a skater skirt would be an excellent piece. I did buy a shorter one that just covers my bum. This year I regret that decision and wish I owned an outdoor blanket or "sleeping bag" coat. BUT I can't afford a new winter coat and I have at least 5 of them so I'm doing the layering thing, which is really in right now. Today it was my short down vest over my long wool coat.
