Leggings or opaque tights with flat slouchy boots would probably look great. I think it's the combination of short dress and high heeled boots which pushes them just a little out of work appropriate (but again, not awful). For work, I try to keep skirts at or just above my kneecap. I can't answer as to whether it is age appropriate. These seem a bit longer than the skirt you posted so you might be ok.</p> <p>I agree with Shana that they would look great as tunics. I think they would also be much more acceptable with leggings rather than hose (though again it may not be work appropriate in certain contexts). Definitely keep them. Though your tights are opaque, we're talking several inches (3-4) above the knee here which I think is kind of pushing it for work.
