She must be quite the accessory for you! I sewed the matching dresses when my DD was 3-4. Looking back at the pictures, she looked cute, and I looked like I was ready to board a covered wagon and hit the Oregon Trail. </p> <p>I do remember noticing that her skin tone was different than mine and needed different colors. From a very young age (old enough to hold a crayon) she instinctively chose colors that looked good on her and told me that my greyed-out muted colors were *sad colors*! They were, for her. I'm finding that I am paying more attention to things like colors that look great on her, shapes I like her in. I don't think I would have thought about those things much a couple of years ago.
